HireHub WorkTime
Delete Your Account and Data
App: HireHub WorkTime · bundle com.hirehub.worker · operated by Ctrl Code Company
How to request deletion
In the App (the way to delete your account):
- Open Settings and choose Delete account (in the "Your data" group).
- Read the confirmation, which lists what is deleted and what is kept, and continue.
- We send a 5-digit one-time code to the phone number on your account, by Telegram or SMS. Enter it in the App.
- When the code is accepted, your account is deleted straight away. There is no waiting period and no manual step.
The code is valid for 5 minutes. You can ask for a new code after 60 seconds, and after 5 wrong codes you must ask for a new one. If we cannot complete the deletion of your face and attendance-system data, nothing is deleted: the App shows an error and you can try again with the same code while it is still valid.
By email, for what the App cannot do:
- deleting only your face data and keeping your account;
- withdrawing your location consent without deleting your account;
- getting a copy of your data;
- deleting your account if you cannot use the App, or if your account has no phone number (the App cannot send a code without one);
- reviewing the records that are kept (see the table below).
There is no button in the App for deleting only your face data or for withdrawing location consent (face-verification consent can be withdrawn in the App: Settings → Withdraw face-verification consent). To make an email request:
- Email privacy@hirehubgroup.uz with the subject "Privacy Request — HireHub WorkTime".
- Include the mobile phone number you sign in with, if your account has one, so we can find your account (if it has none, tell us who your employer is), and say what you want.
- For a face-data request, mark the email "BIOMETRIC DELETION REQUEST". This also withdraws your consent to face verification.
- We verify that the request is really from you before deleting anything, for example with a one-time code sent to the phone number on the account, or by confirming with your employer. We confirm by email when it is done.
We aim to respond within 30 days.
What happens
| Data | What we do |
|---|---|
| Face embedding (biometric) | Deleted from our face-recognition server (securely wiped) the moment you complete account deletion in the App. For a face-data-only request by email, deleted when we process it. Enrolling your face again deletes the previous embedding (on a best-effort basis; anything left over is removed when you delete your account). It is not deleted automatically: if you never delete your account, it is kept, including after you stop using the App or withdraw your consent. |
| Face reference photos and check-in selfies | Deleted from our private storage the moment you complete account deletion in the App (the reference photos and all check-in selfies). For a face-data-only request by email, deleted when we process it. Check-in and check-out selfies are also deleted automatically 90 days after they were taken. Reference photos are kept while your face enrolment is active; enrolling again deletes the previous ones (on a best-effort basis; anything left over is removed when you delete your account), and withdrawing consent does not by itself delete them. |
| Face enrolment record and face-verification consent | When you complete account deletion in the App (or when we process a face-data or consent-withdrawal request by email), your face enrolments are revoked and your consent is recorded as withdrawn. Withdrawing face-verification consent in the App (Settings → Withdraw face-verification consent) also records your consent as withdrawn and switches your face enrolment off at once, but does not by itself delete your reference photos or face embedding. Selfies already stored keep following the 90-day automatic deletion, and until then your employer's HR administrators can still view those from flagged check-ins. The consent record itself is kept as proof of what you agreed to and when. |
| Account and profile (phone number, name, profile photo) | Deleted the moment you complete account deletion in the App (or when we process a verified request by email if you cannot use the App). Your WorkTime sign-in is a HireHub account, so this also ends access to other HireHub apps that use the same account. |
| Workspace membership | Marked as terminated when you complete account deletion, so you no longer count as an active member of your employer's workspace. This is the same for every company you belong to. The membership record is kept with the attendance records below. |
| Push-notification token, notification inbox and browser-push subscriptions | Deleted the moment you complete account deletion in the App, together with your notification preferences. The push token is also removed when you sign out of the App. |
| Attendance records, including GPS check-in coordinates, IP address and device identifier; timesheets, overtime requests (including any note you wrote), payslips and the points and rewards ledger | Not deleted. These are append-only records of your employer's payroll and HR history: they cannot be edited or removed through the App, the employer dashboard or normal database operation, and they are not removed when you delete your account or when your employer removes you from the workspace. They are kept for the period your employer needs them and its legal record-keeping obligations, under an internal member ID that your employer can link to you. Their references to your deleted face enrolment point at nothing. If you believe the law entitles you to have them erased, tell us by email and we will assess it and reply with our reasons. |
| Invitations, join requests and Telegram link | Kept as part of your employer's workspace records. Invitation records keep the phone number as originally entered. Email us if you want these reviewed for removal. |
| Backups | Encrypted database backups are kept for a short rolling period, so deleted database records can remain in a backup until it ages out. These backups do not contain stored selfies or face embeddings. |
Face verification and location consent are both required to check in, so after you withdraw consent, check-ins are refused until you consent again and re-enrol. Let your employer know if you plan to do this.
